Hi! My name is Jerret Turner and…I’m the budget snob. Ever since I created my first personal budget back in 1998, I’ve been fascinated with manipulating, refining, and redesigning my own financial budgeting process. I love it so much that I’ve dedicated most of my working adult life to the budget career field.
And so, Budget Snob is a place where I share my favorite budgeting, investment, and other personal finance topics. I feature the best, most talked about stories from the personal finance web. Well, that’s a lofty goal anyway.
I’m not a financial pro. I’m not an expert. I’m not a guru. I don’t have a business degree. I’m not someone who claims to have all the answers. I may not even know the answer at all. I’m a simple guy who loves to solve financial problems using simple spreadsheet tools.
Why should you care?
Well, maybe you shouldn’t. I may not be able to solve your financial problems but I can point you in the right direction. Because sometimes you don’t need an answer, you just need a map and a few good road signs.
